LSIS unveils the biggest ESS-based mega solar EPC project in Japan

LSIS unveiled an ESS-based mega solar EPC project, the biggest in Japan
LSIS (Geonggi, South Korea) introduced the Shin Chitose mega solar EPC project at International Smart Grid Expo 2017 in Tokyo, Japan. The company showcased the solar PV and energy storage project which will be completed in the second half of the year.
Shin Chitose solar photovoltaic (PV) plant will deliver 39 MW of power capacity and 28 MW of installed capacity.
Also, this ESS (Energy Storage System) plant will come with 17 MW of power conversion systems (PCS) and 13.77 MWh of battery energy storage, the biggest size in the region.
The plant entered into a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with HEPCO and will stably supply power for 20 years with 40 yen per kWh.
The solar array zone, will include various PV modules including floating PV modules.
