Shown above is the mambilla power project located in Taraba north eastern Nigeria .This projected which is being handled by the Chinese is one of the several projects being undertaken by the Chinese in Nigeria When completed it is expected to generate about 4000W which is quite impressive,because currently the total power generation which at times fluctuates between 4000W to something close to 5000W and some times fluctuates below 4000W. If this amount can be generated from a single hydro power project then it is very important for the Government to do all within its power to make sure it harnesses all the available resources in this regard constantly maintaining the existing hydro power plants .
